At your appointment you will be greeted by the front end staff and shown to an assessment room to meet your orthotist. The orthotist will start with a verbal assessment which includes questions about how the problem first started, how long it has been a problem, what limitations it may cause, if you have tried anything already, if there was something you had heard about and wanted to try and also what your doctor has recommended. The second part of the assessment are biomechanical tests, surrounding your area of concern, for range of motion, muscle strength, and other physical signs like swelling, skin condition and injury. With your orthotist you will decide on a treatment plan that works for you and addresses your concerns.

A prescription from your doctor is required for insurance coverage.
